Vneuron to Join Discussions on AI and Trade Security at Afreximbank Compliance Forum 2025 in Kigali

The Afreximbank Compliance Forum (ACF2025) is set to take place from 12 to 14 November 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda, bringing together regulators, banks, and financial crime specialists from across the continent. The forum will examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping compliance frameworks and trade oversight, under the theme:
“Embracing AI to Promote and Secure Trade Through a Modern AML/CFT/CPF Compliance Framework.”

Vneuron Risk & Compliance will participate as an official sponsor of the event. The delegation will be led by Mahmoud MHIRI, Executive Partner, alongside Siraj LASSOUED , Hend NCIRI, and Ahmed JERBI from the company’s regional commercial team.

During the event, Mahmoud MHIRI will be contributing to discussions on the role of AI in strengthening risk detection and improving cross-border transparency. The conversation aligns with broader regulatory and industry efforts to address evolving financial crime methods in global trade.

Trade systems are becoming increasingly digitized, and with that shift comes greater exposure to complex money-laundering risks. Many African financial institutions are currently assessing how AI-driven monitoring tools can support more adaptive compliance strategies.

ACF2025 is anticipated to serve as a platform for comparing approaches, examining regulatory expectations, and understanding how institutions are responding to operational challenges in real time.

Vneuron’s participation forms part of a wider set of regional exchanges focused on modernizing AML/CFT controls, improving data visibility, and building more resilient trade ecosystems.
